The version-one website is not intended to collect passport scans, identity-document images or vessel-document uploads.
How we use information
We use the information to review and respond to yacht-clearance requests, identify a suitable local agent, communicate with you, share necessary details with an agent you may work with, maintain service and security records, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing with yacht-clearance agents
When you ask for an introduction, we may share the details reasonably necessary for a suitable yacht-clearance agent to assess and respond to your request. Agents receiving information act under their own legal responsibilities and may provide their own privacy information.
Service providers and international transfers
We may use hosting, email, security and business-service providers. Because EC GLOBAL PROMOTIONS LTD is based in the United Arab Emirates and works with agents in different countries, information may be processed outside the country where it was submitted. We will use appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards where required.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the request, referral administration, legal compliance, dispute handling and security. Ordinary clearance requests are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, subject to legal exceptions.
